Elsa cake

My recent Elsacake

I got the Elsadoll from the birthdaygirl

The cake itself its vanillasponge filled with strawberrymousse, covered with White chocolateganache

then I covered it with marzipan

Hot weather that day so it cracked easily

Dusted it with turquoise shimmerdust and than with strips of turquoise sugarpaste

A lot of strips in different withs and lenghts

Placed her on a plastic plate in the colour iceblue.

Here the both cakes are set-up at the birthday party

 

Minecraft cake

I was asked if I could make a minecraft cake, they boy who wished for it loves chocolate and marzipan.

I made the cake as a checkerboard inside

with choklatesponge and green colored vanillasponge

I glued the pieces together with chocolatefondant and covored the whole cake with it.

I covered the cake with marzipan and made a checkered pattern on it

I than decorated it with smaller pieces to get a more 3-d effect

I made his name in greycolored marzipan and tried to make the letters as they are in the Minecraft logo
